No Bake Banoffee Pie | How to make Banoffee Pie | Medley-Of-Flavours



Ingredients:

  • 1 Banana
  • 200 gms Dulce de Leche
  • 12 digestive biscuits / Marie biscuits
  • 100 gms melted butter 
  • Whipped cream for garnish
Method:
  • Take a 3 inch pie mould and grease it with some butter.
  • Crush the digestive biscuts/ Marie biscuits and keep it aside.
  • Pour melted butter into the crushed digestive biscuits. Mix it well. 
  • Take the greased mould and add the biscuit mixture into it.
  • Using back of a spoon press and level the mixture in the mould.
  • Refrigerate the mould for 2 hours or until it is set completely.
  • After the base is set. Arrange a layer of chopped banana on it.
  • Now pour the Dulce De Leche on the bananas. Using a spoon/ spatula level the surface.
  • Refrigerate this for 4 - 5 hours or until it is set.
  • De-mould and top this with some whipped cream and serve.
  • Double the recipe to make a larger Banoffee pie.
Preparation Time: 15 mins
Resting Time: 6 - 8 hours

Muskmelon Milkshake | How to make Muskmelon Milkshake | Medley-Of-Flavours




Ingredients:
  • 1 Cup Muskmelon
  • 3/4 Cup Milk
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • Few Ice cubes
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
Method:
  • In a blender jar, add muskmelon, milk, sugar and cardamom powder . 
  • Blend everything until the muskmelon and sugar completely mix well.
  • In a glass, take some ice cubes.
  • Pour in the milkshake. 
  • Garnish it with some chopped dry fruits of your choice and serve.
Preparation Time: 10 mins

Dulce De Leche | How to make Dulce De Leche | Medley-Of-Flavours

 


Ingredients:

  • 400g condensed milk/ 1 tin milkmaid
  • Water
Method:
  • Fill a deep pan with water.
  • Take a closed tin of condensed milk. Immerse the condensed milk tin into the pan.
  • Make sure the tin is completely covered in water.
  • Start heating the water on medium flame.
  • Close the pan with a lid and let it boil for 2 and a half hours to three hours.
  • Keep checking if the water level is above the condensed milk tin.
  • Add some water if the water level becomes low. Else there are chances that the tin might explode.
  • After 2 and half hours switch if the flame.
  • Let the water and tin cool down completely.
  • Here you go. Easy homemade Dulce de Leche is ready to dig in.

Malai Kofta | How to make Malai Kofta | Medley-Of-Flavours



Ingredients:

For Kofta:

  • 5 Boiled potatoes
  • 1 Cup crumbled paneer
  • 2 tbsp Corn flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Chopped cashew
  • Oil for frying
For gravy:
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 2 Onions
  • 4 Tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
  • 10 Cashews 
  • 1/4 cup Cream
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tsp Garam masala
  • Coriander for garnish
Method:
  • In a Kadhai heat some oil for frying.
  • In a bowl take mashed boiled potatoes, paneer, corn flour , salt , chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, Garam masala,  few chopped cashews and mix everything well.
  • Take small portions of the mixture and make koftas.
  • Deep fry these koftas in oil till it turns golden brown.
  • Fry all the koftas and keep them aside.
  • Now heat a pan, add butter, chopped onions let it cook.
  • Add tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes turns mushy.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, salt to taste and cashews. Sauté them for a while.
  • Let this cool down. 
  • Blend this to a fine paste in a mixer jar once it is completely cooled. 
  • In the same pan add a tsp butter and heat it.
  • Add chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder , Garam masala to the butter.
  • Mix everything well and using a strainer strain the tomato onion paste into the masala. 
  • Add water and close it with a lid. Let it come to boil.
  • Add cream and mix everything well and cook for 2 more minutes.
  • Finally add some Garam masala and mix well.
  • In a plate take koftas and pour the gravy on them. Garnish it with some cream and  coriander leaves and serve.
Preparation Time: 20 mins
Cooking Time : 30 mins
Serves: 2 - 3

Chocolate Cheese Sandwich | How to make Chocolate Cheese Sandwich | Medley-Of-Flavours

      Chocolate Cheese Sandwich




Ingredients:
  • 2 slices of bread
  • Butter/ Ghee
  • Cheese slice / processed cheese cubes
  • Salt
  • Chocolate of your choice.
Method:
  • Apply butter/ghee on the both sides of bread slices.
  • Great cheese if you are using processed cheese cubes.
  • Great chocolate using a greater. Or you can also chop the chocolate.
  • Now place the grated chocolate on bread slice.
  • Through in some cheese on to the chocolate.
  • Repeat with one more layer of chocolate if you want it to be more chocolaty.
  • Sprinkle some salt over it.
  • Place the other bread slice over it.
  • Heat a pan/ tawa. Place the sandwich on the pan/ tawa.
  • Cover it with a lid and let the cheese melt.
  • Turn the sandwich to the other side. Toast it.
  • Remove it from the pan cut it into your desired shape.
  • Spread some more cheese on top of it.
  • Garnish it with some more chocolate or you can use any chocolate syrup. 
  • Chocolate cheese toast is ready to be served.
  • Repeat the process to make as many sandwiches as you like.

Butter Naan | How to make Butter Naan | Medley-Of-Flavours

       Butter Naan


Ingredients:

  • 2 Cups All purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp Baling soda
  • Luke warm water 
  • Sesame seeds
  • Coriander
  • Butter
Method:
  • In a bowl, take all purpose flour , curd, oil, sugar,salt,baking powder, baking soda.
  • Mix everything well.
  • Start adding Luke warm water and make a soft dough.
  • Knead the dough for 2 mins.
  • Let the dough rest for 15 - 20 mins.
  • The dough rises after a while. Make small portions of the dough.
  • Using a rolling pin roll the small dough ball into a naan.
  • On one side of naan sprinkle some sesame seeds and chopped coriander leaves.
  • Roll the rolling pin again on the naan so they can stick properly.
  • On the other side brush the naan with water, so that it can stick to the tawa.
  • Place the water side down on a hot iron tawa.
  • Once it is cooked using a tong place the other side of naan directly on flame.
  • Cook it well.
  • Repeat the process with all the dough.
  • Brush the naan with a lot of butter.

Resting time : 15 mins
Cooking time : 10 mins
