Ingredients:
For Kofta:
- 5 Boiled potatoes
- 1 Cup crumbled paneer
- 2 tbsp Corn flour
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp Red Chilli powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- 1 tbsp Chopped cashew
- Oil for frying
For gravy:
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 Onions
- 4 Tomatoes
- 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- 10 Cashews
- 1/4 cup Cream
- 1/2 cup water
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp chilli powder
- 1 tsp Coriander powder
- 1/2 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam masala
- Coriander for garnish
Method:
- In a Kadhai heat some oil for frying.
- In a bowl take mashed boiled potatoes, paneer, corn flour , salt , chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, Garam masala, few chopped cashews and mix everything well.
- Take small portions of the mixture and make koftas.
- Deep fry these koftas in oil till it turns golden brown.
- Fry all the koftas and keep them aside.
- Now heat a pan, add butter, chopped onions let it cook.
- Add tomatoes and cook till the tomatoes turns mushy.
- Add ginger garlic paste, salt to taste and cashews. Sauté them for a while.
- Let this cool down.
- Blend this to a fine paste in a mixer jar once it is completely cooled.
- In the same pan add a tsp butter and heat it.
- Add chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder , Garam masala to the butter.
- Mix everything well and using a strainer strain the tomato onion paste into the masala.
- Add water and close it with a lid. Let it come to boil.
- Add cream and mix everything well and cook for 2 more minutes.
- Finally add some Garam masala and mix well.
- In a plate take koftas and pour the gravy on them. Garnish it with some cream and coriander leaves and serve.
