Masala Chapati
- 1 Carrot
- 2 Onions
- 1/2 tsp green chilli paste
- Salt
- Oil
- Water
- 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
- Coriander
- 1 Cup Atta / wheat flour
Method:
- Finely chop onions. Finely chop coriander leaves.
- Wash and grate the carrot.
- In a Kadhai, heat 2 tbsp oil.
- Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.
- Add onions and grated carrot, sauté them for a while.
- Add salt, green chilli paste and finely chopped coriander to it.
- Cook till the carrot softens.Let it cool down.
- Add wheat flour, add water and make a dough with the mixture. Knead the dough for 5 mins.
- Let it rest for 10 mins.
- Divide the dough into small portions.
- Using a Chapati rolling pin make Chapati.
- Cook Chapati on a roti tawa using some ghee or oil.
- Serve it with any gravy or fresh curd.
