Lassi is a popular traditional yogurt-based drink that originated in the Indian subcontinent. Today we shall learn how to make a thick,creamy and delicious lassi with very few ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup curd
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 3 to 4 tsp powdered sugar
- 2 drops vanilla essence (optional)
- chopped almonds (for garnish)
Preparation:
- In a bowl, take a cup of curd and beat it with a whisk or a spatula till it turns creamy and lump-free.
- Add 1 cup of milk into the bowl.
- Add powdered sugar, cardamom powder, vanilla essence and mix well.
- Pour it in glasses and garnish with chopped almonds.
- You can also garnish with your choice of dry fruits.
- Serve it chilled.

Tip:
- You can also use a blender to mix everything together.
- Do not over blend.
- Use thick curd and full fat milk for better lassi.
