Rice Flour Roti
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Rice flour
- 1 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 tsp ghee/oil
- Salt
- Rice flour to roll rotis
Method:
- Heat water, ghee/oil and salt in a pan / Kadhai.
- Once water comes to boil add rice flour to it.
- Do not mix rice flour.
- Do not close it with a lid.
- Let it boil/cook for 15 mins.
- After 15 mins switch off the flame and mix all the ingredients without any lumps.
- Let it cool down.
- Knead the mixture once it is warm.
- Divide the dough into small portions.
- Dust some rice flour on the surface.
- Take a portion of the dough, using rolling pin start rolling rotis with lite hands.
- Do not apply pressure. Roll it till you get your desired shape / size.
- Feel free to use a cutter to shape the rotis round.
- Heat a pan and place roti on it and cook the roti on both sides with oil/ghee.
- Repeat the process to make more rotis.
Preparation time : 5 mins
Cooking time : 30 mins
Makes 10 rotis
It seems difficult to prepare. Still I would love to try it someday.
